Information about what makes the "music" you hear.
Linux MultiMedia Studio
This is what 99% of the music you hear was created in. Essentially the poor man/Linux user's FL Studio, this very prone to crashing yet excellent (given its circumstances) piece of software, and the plug-ins and presets that come with it, drive much of the synthetic goodness (or badness, depends) that in turn powers D-LINC. It's also where SingerBot lives.
Yamaha DX-7mk1 "Audrey III"
A truly legendary synth, sadly in not too great condition, but it still sounds perfect. Great for metallic bass sounds when recording D-LINC songs.
Korg DS-8 "Synth World"
Matt's newest synth, yet to use it in a D-LINC project, but it's based on the same technology as the DX-7 with some differences (such as layering, split points and effects, but at the cost of polyphony and the number of operators that can be used).
Yamaha PSR-275 "The Black Sheep"
The first keyboard Matt got, sadly it was a beginner keyboard from the get-go and is now grossly outdated (no pitch bend!). Still comes in handy for keyboard exams, practicing and the like, and its piano sound is quite good for the price.
